NLCC Cataraqui Cadet Corps

Lorem Ipsum The Navy League of Canada was established in 1895 to promote an interest in Maritime Affairs generally throughout Canada. It was The Boys Brigade but after 1942 became the Navy League of Canada. Today, The Navy League of Canada has a presence in over 265 Canadian communities. Our youth programs benefit 15,000 young Canadians every year, and we continue to grow.

What do the youth in our program get?

What do youth 'get' from our program? In addition to making life-long friends and enjoying experiences they just can't get anywhere else, cadets learn valuable life-skills like leadership, teamwork, self-discipline, organization and effective communication. Our program prepares today's youth to become tomorrow's community leaders.

ImageWelcome from Commanding Officer

NLCC Cataraqui is a non-profit, community-based, youth organization from Kingston, Ontario, Canada. We are a volunteer organization for youth ages 9 - 13. The goal of the Navy League Cadet Movement is to encourage patriotism, good citizenship, a sense of duty, self-discipline and respect for others among today's youth in a navy-based environment.
At NLCC Cataraqui, we aim to make a difference in your child's life. We do this by providing them with many opportunities to get involved with the corps. As Cadets progress through their training they will have the opportunity to take on new leadership roles within the corps, join different competition teams, become a member of our guard, or Colour Party.
The Navy League receives no government funding and is supported by the fundraising efforts of the Navy League Kingston Branch, and community donations.
